Join us as we celebrate 21 years of CONTRA-TIEMPO Activist Dance Theater with an afternoon of food, laughter, storytelling, music, dancing and connection.

For two decades, CONTRA-TIEMPO has brought together artists, organizers, educators, families, and community members who believe in the power of dance to imagine and create a more loving and just world. This gathering is an opportunity to honor the people, relationships, and collective spirit that have carried us through twenty one years of artistry and activism—and to celebrate all that is still unfolding.

We'll gather at Estrella Park in South Los Angeles, a beautiful community space stewarded by our longtime partners at the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust, whose work transforms vacant land into parks, gardens, and places where communities can gather, heal, and thrive. We're grateful to celebrate this milestone in a space that reflects our shared commitment to community care and environmental justice.
